Prior work experience in accounting and Sage Intacct implementations is a requirement for this position. Previous experience in association/non-profit industry would be a huge plus!
Responsibilities:
- Implement Sage Intacct accounting software according to our established implementation methodology, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget, resulting in high customer satisfaction and successful adoption.
- Lead technical support in business development activities, including gathering requirements, preparing proposals, and demonstrating software capabilities.
- Collaborate with clients to analyze, define, and document accounting workflows and functional requirements for the implemented solution.
- Develop and maintain expertise in Sage Intacct features and functionality.
- Perform accounting data conversions from various systems, such as QuickBooks, including data cleansing, mapping, validation, testing, and review.
- Conduct training sessions for client end-users across different levels of the organization.
- Address technical support issues promptly and effectively, fostering trust and long-term relationships with clients.
- Provide exceptional customer service to both client personnel and internal teams.
- Define service scope and corresponding labor estimates for assignments, ensuring budget adherence.
- Attend regular webinars and/or further training sessions to ensure product knowledge is up to date
- Stay updated on new technologies and trends relevant to our clients, making recommendations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Preferred certifications: CPA
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in consulting and implementing Sage Intacct for multiple clients, including over 10+ implementations.
- Led 5+ Sage Intacct implementations
- Certification for Sage Implementation Consultant
- Certification for Sage Accounting Consultant
- Full-cycle accounting experience with financial close responsibilities, preferably in the non-profit industry.
- Strong understanding of accounting standards, general ledger/subledger concepts, and financial close procedures.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel for efficient data mapping, integration, and migration.
- Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of a client’s organization.
- Self-motivated with excellent organization, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail, both written and verbal communication, and high personal quality expectations.
- Ability to multitask effectively across projects, customers, and internal activities.
- Collaborative team player.
- Salary range: $80K – $110K; based on experience. Opportunity to earn quarterly bonuses.
